A high-speed railway connecting the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area of the Republic of Indonesia and West Java Province is the first high-speed railway in Southeast Asia. It is also the first Chinese high-speed railway project to implement its entire system, all factors, and the entire industry chain overseas. The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is a landmark project for the joint construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative and pragmatic cooperation between China and Indonesia.
